Requirements

• In order to register a .eu domain name, registrants must meet one of the following criteria:
  • Be an undertaking having their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European community,
  • Be an organization established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of national law; or
  • Be a natural person resident within the European Community.
• The term available for .eu domain registrations is 1 year

Modifications:

• Please note that changes to ownership information will result in a chargeable transaction when the owner name is changed and/or the owner organization information is changed.
• The registry determines if the change is chargeable based on a manual review of the request.
• Please note that chargeable owner changes will result in the expiry date of the domain being updated to reflect the change completion date plus 1 year.
