However, the registry may occasionally request that the registrant sign an authorization form. This will only be requested by H-NIC when the registry places a request. Please allow up to three business days to process DK registrations. Activation Registrants have three months to activate a domain name once it is registered. The registry will send the admin contact an email with instructions to activate the domain after the registrations has been submitted. The registry sends a reminder email after two months if no action has been taken. If no activation occurs within the three-month timeframe, the domain is made available for registration and no refund is provided. Nameserver approval Every nameserver used for the .dk domain must be registered and approved by The domain nameserver applying for approval must be set up correctly and allow zone transfers from the nameserver to DK Hostmaster's primary nameserver - hostcount.dk-hostmaster.dk, 193.163.102.6. There is a one-time registration and approval fee of DKK. 500 + VAT per nameserver, and the registration takes two working days at present. When your application has been processed and your nameserver has been approved, you will receive a notification by email. Registrations submitted with nameservers that have not been approved will fail. Transfers Transfers in are not supported. Renewals Domains names are registered for a period of one year. Renewal requests must be submitted prior to the domain’s expiry date in order to renew the name for another one-year period. Domains that have not been renewed will be deleted. |
